Artist biography

Françoise Wallace Corsane aka babette .
Babette was born in Surabaja, Java, Indonesia, in 1951.

Education:

Primary school : Jakarta, then Algiers from 1959 to1962.
Secondary school : Nice, France
University: Nice and the Sorbonne Paris III (B.A. & C.A.P.E.S. English)
Holidays were spent in Malaya
Trained as a language teacher (English).

Career:

Worked in secondary schools in France, Morocco and Ethiopia before returning to France with her husband and two teenage sons in 1993.They now live in the Béarn province, S.W France.
